Standards index

Core standards that reduce marketplace risk.

These standards are written to be easy to evaluate. If a partner provides written requirements, those requirements take precedence.

Standard 01

Sourcing & authorization

We prioritize authorized distributors and brand-direct relationships. When a partner requires verification, we support reasonable documentation requests aligned to written requirements.

Non-negotiable
If a product cannot be sourced through appropriate channels and documented to partner requirements, we do not list it.
Authorized-first posture: preference for authorized distributors and brand-direct supply.
Records retained: invoices and purchase records kept for verification where required.
Traceability mindset: where feasible, we retain lot/batch context and shipping documentation.
No diversion posture: we do not support counterfeit or diverted inventory.
Standard 02

Listing accuracy & integrity

Listings are built to reflect the item as sourced: accurate titles, accurate images, correct variants, and plain-language descriptions. We avoid confusing or sensational claims and align to partner content standards when provided.

Variant accuracy
Correct size, color, pack count, ingredients, and UPC/EAN representation where applicable.
Image accuracy
No misleading photography. Images reflect actual packaging and the item delivered.
Plain-language descriptions
Clear and supportable product descriptions without exaggerated or unsupported claims.
Content standards
We follow marketplace rules and partner-provided content requirements when in writing.
Standard 03

Channel discipline

We respect partner channel expectations. If a brand restricts certain marketplaces or regions in writing, we align our retail execution accordingly.

Marketplace readiness
Our Marketplace Compliance page describes our operational posture and verification readiness in more detail.
Written restrictions respected: we follow partner channel rules provided in writing.
Region discipline: we align to region/territory terms where applicable.
Consistent customer experience: policies, shipping, and support are consistent across channels.
Brand protection posture: we avoid practices that create listing confusion or brand dilution.
Standard 04

Pricing & brand policies

When partners provide written pricing policies or guidance, we treat them as operational requirements where applicable. We do not promise adherence to policies that are not provided in writing or that conflict with marketplace rules.

Important
This standard is meant to reduce partner risk and clarify expectations—not to create legal commitments beyond written agreements.
Written policy only
We align to pricing policies provided in writing and acknowledged during onboarding.
Marketplace rules respected
We follow applicable marketplace policies and work with partners to align where needed.
No manipulation
We avoid practices that damage brand value or create customer distrust.
Partner communication
If issues arise, we communicate in writing and aim for documented resolution.
Standard 05

Customer responsibility

Retail compliance includes customer care. We maintain clear policies, handle issues responsibly, and treat resolution as part of brand protection.

Clear policies: shipping, returns, and terms are easy to find and written clearly.
Responsive support: customer inquiries are handled promptly and respectfully.
Documented handling: issues are handled with traceable communication and outcomes.
Brand-safe outcomes: we prioritize resolutions that protect customer trust and brand reputation.
Standard 06

Product condition & quality handling

We aim to protect product integrity. Where applicable, we follow handling requirements (storage, expiry, packaging condition) aligned to partner requirements and marketplace expectations.

Packaging integrity
Products must meet reasonable packaging expectations for safe retail and delivery.
Expiry awareness
Where applicable, we consider expiry/lot context and avoid listing compromised goods.
Safe handling posture
We align to any written storage/handling requirements provided by partners.
Condition integrity
Items listed should match what customers receive—no condition surprises.
Standard 07

Claims & content standards

We avoid unsupported claims. Listings and marketing copy are written to be clear and supportable, aligned to marketplace rules and partner content standards provided in writing.

Plain-language posture
We prefer clarity over hype. If claims require substantiation and we cannot support them, we don’t publish them.
No misleading claims: avoid sensational or unsupported statements.
Partner standards respected: follow written content requirements where provided.
Accurate images: packaging and label images reflect the actual item.
Regulated categories caution: for regulated products, we use extra care and plain language.
Standard 08

Reporting, cooperation & escalation

If a partner identifies a concern (listing integrity, suspected counterfeit, channel policy conflict), we treat it as a brand-protection issue and aim for fast, documented resolution.

Verification support: we engage in partner verification workflows when requested.
Issue escalation path: clear contact route for compliance and partner inquiries.
Documented outcomes: we aim for written communication and traceable resolution steps.
Brand-safe posture: prioritize solutions that protect customers and brand reputation.
